Zug des Monats: März
Nach dem kleinen gefährt im Januar geht es diesen Monat nicht viel grösser weiter: mit einem "Akkuschleppfahrzeug", weil aber der Name wahrscheinlich zu lang war, um ihn am Fahrzeug anzuschreiben, heisst es beim Vorbild einfach ASF. Mehr zum Vorbild gibt es einmal mehr bei Wikipedia. Naja, besonders schön ist es ja schon nicht, das ASF.
After the tiny vehicle in January I go further in that size than the "Akkuschleppfahrzeug" (accu towing vehicle) isn't much longer. They are called just ASF, i think the reason is, that the name would we longer as the vehicle itself. The ASF's where made in the German Democratic Republic between 1966 and 1990 in a quiet big number.
At the moment I don't know how to explain, that a railway company in Switzerland owns such a thing. But because its livery matches exact with my Weineggbahn and it can be very usefull in the new station with its repair and enginehouse I had to buy it.
Und wie ich erklären soll, dass die Weineggbahn in dieser Epoche ein DDR-Fahrzeug ihr eigen nennt, weiss ich noch nicht. Aber für den neuen Bahnhof braucht die Weineggbahn unbedingt einen kleinen Rangiertrakor für Depot und Bahnhof. Und da Rivarossi den ASF exakt in den Fahrben der Weineggbahn anbietet, konnte ich die Finger nicht von diesem Fahrzeug lassen...
