Still alive

Genau! Ich lebe noch. Aber ich habe in letzter Zeit nicht besonders viel Zeit für die Weineggbahn aufgewendet. Ganz einfach, ich hatte irgendwie keine Lust. Aber trotzdem ist etwas gegangen. Hier einige Bilder, welche den Followers auf Facebook schon bekannt sein dürften. Dort gibt es auch noch andere Geschichten aus meinem Modellbahnerleben.

Yes, I am still alive, but there were no large processes at Weinegg since my last entry. I was just not in the mood to work on my Model Railroad. Even so I can present you a few pictures of what I did the last couple of month. My followers on Facebook will recognize these Pictures. On Facebook you will find some other stories of my life as a Modelrailroader as well.

So soll er denn aussehen, der Gleisplan von "Neu Weinegg", links noch Ermetshausen, provisorisch aufgebaut in meinem Wohnzimmer.

Ich hatte immer Probleme mit verzogenen Modulkästen bei meinen früheren Projekten, daher habe ich mich jetzt für eine stabilere und passgenauere Bauform aus Aluprofilen entschieden.

In the past I was not very satisfyed with the bases for my Projects because they where often somehow twisted. This time I made a base of solid Aluminium profiles.

 



Der Bahnhof wird wieder die üblichen Dinge aufweisen, welche einen Endbahnhof irgendwo auf dem Land, irgendwo in der Schweiz ausmachen: Aufnahmegebäude, Lokdepot, Bekohlungsmöglichkeit und Dieseltanstelle, Ladekran und noch anderer Kleinkram.

My new Station will have a Station Buildung, a Engine Sheed and some infrastructur for coal and Diesel as well. There will be a crane for loading and unloading freight. It will be just a average Station in the rural area somewhere in Switzerland.

 

 

Eigentlich plante ich die Bekohlungsanlage und die Dieseltankstelle unmittelbar neben dem Depot. Ein Follower auf Facebook machte mich dann aber darauf aufmerksam, dass dies wohl im Original ein Problem sein könnte, weil die Loks ja so gerade neben der Tankstelle entschlackt würden. Stimmt. Daher ist die Bekohlung und die Tankstelle inzwischen umgezogen.

 

At first I planed to locate the infrastructure for coal and Diesel right beside the engine sheed. But one of my followers on Facebook mentinoned Diesel and coal beside the place where the steam engines will be slaged contains the risk of fire. He is right! Therefore Diesel and coal are moved further away from the sheed.

Das Diorama werde ich nach hinten mit einem Hügel und teilweise mit einer Mauer abgrenzen.

The diorama will be defined in the Background by a hill and partially with a wall.

 

 

 

Diese Mauer zu erstellen, war meine grosse Leistung am vergangenen Sonntag. jetzt soll sie noch etwas Farbe bekommen.

Yesterday I mounted this wall, and in the nex few days it will get some colour.
